Obviously I know I'm going to have a baby, but I think reality has just set in. It's really going to happen in a few months. I'm just now starting to freak about needing to prepare and what is going to happen.

Our guest bedroom needs to be changed to a nursery. It needs a  new ceiling and probably new floor too. New paint is needed and of course baby furniture and decorations. Everyone keeps asking about how we are going to decorate it but we really haven't had a chance to talk about it. With our everchanging schedules, my husband and I don't get a ton of down time with each other.

That's another thing that we have been thinking about. My husband works till 2 AM and my schedule is different every day. I don't know of any child care facilities that are opened till 10 or 11 PM. Yikes!

And what about maternity leave. How much time to I get off and how much time do I need? Will I be able to do my job well enough once I start getting bigger? I'm already starting to feel the difference. Squatting down to photograph something is not as easy as it used to be. Or maybe I should say that it's the getting up after squatting that isn't as easy. I think I'm still doing as much as I did before, I can just feel the effects of it now.

Times they are changing and they are going to change a whole lot more in a few months.
